Have you ever wondered about all of those bottles and jars on the GOLDEN product displays? What do they do? What are they for? Which one should I try? The Acrylic Explorer kit has a little of everything and is a great way to get acquainted with a nice variety of products.

We’ll be using everything in the kit to create a fantastic piece ready to hang, sell or gift.

What’s in the kit? 14 GOLDEN products including Heavy Body, Fluid, OPEN and High Flow Colors, Clear Tar Gel, Heavy Matte Gel, Molding Paste and Gloss Medium, transfer image, limited edition hand painted palette knife, cradled wood panel (prepped). You’ll also need your acrylic set, brushes, water, paper towels, a sheet protector or ziplock bag.

Day 1: Unique acrylic skins, Transfer technique and demo for the first layers on our substrate. We’ll talk about composition and loosely planning an abstract piece. I’ll also show several other Gels, Pastes and Grounds so you can see the differences and possibilities

Day2: Adding subsequent layers and incorporating our collage elements, transfers and skins

No kit option: What do you need for class?
