DECONSTRUCTED

  • Portland Airport Sheridan Hotel Portland, OR (map)

For the first half of the day, we’re going to make several types of collage paper. Some with patterns, some distressed and some perfect blocks of color using OPEN Acrylic colors.

After lunch we’ll create our collage elements and add paint and papers as needed.

We’ll explore paint and paper assemblage- constructing and deconstructing until we get a nice grid of pieces. You’ll take home a 9 block (9 paintings that go together) with some suggestions for framing and hanging.

This is a workshop for all skill levels and can be easily transported back home in a suitcase. Feel free to email me with questions susan.rossiter@yahoo.com
