$95 Many of my works are inspired by the colors, shapes and patterns of the 50’s through the 70’s. Join me for this 3 hour workshop where we’ll create 1-2 eclectic abstract pieces by layering paint, paper and texture products to create a fun retro piece. We’ll cover the basics of color, composition and design with demonstrations to show you how these paintings are built from start to finish.

Materials Fee $10 paid to instructor at beginning of class includes:

use of fine line bottles with GOLDEN High Flow colors, shared collage papers, shared texture products and stencil

Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
2 small substrates: canvas or wood panel prepped with gesso 8x8, 10x10", 12x12" or something comparable (your choice)
Your Acrylic set, brushes, palette knife, palette paper, water container rag/paper towels
Soft Gel Matte or Fluid Matte Medium, Matte Medium
Collage papers, any marbled or tye-dye looking papers, mulberry papers, gel press papers you’ve made etc- papers you LOVE
Scissors
