Mini Paint and Paper Assemblage

A companion Zoom workshop to the free collage paper making demo 9/25. If you made your own papers during the demo or if you already have a stack of collage papers this workshop is for you!

I save every tiny scrap of paper and use them to make mini paper and paint assemblages. In this workshop, I’ll show you how you can use your collage papers with paint to create adorable Mixed Media pieces. I’ll also demonstrate how I made my Christmas/Holiday card this year. Won’t it be nice to have your cards ready for December?

  • A bit on Minimalism- sometimes less is more

  • How I store and organize my papers

  • Creating the first layers on your substrate (2 ways)

  • Getting a distressed/vintage look

  • Using Mediums to adhere papers and more

  • Painting Techniques Joosh, Schmear and other art terms I made up

You’re free to watch and take notes or work with me. To participate you’ll need:
