This ancient technique has been around for thousands of years. Japanese fishermen took ink and rice paper on their boats and made prints from the fish they caught. This was how they recorded fish species and bragged about their catches. In this class we’ll make a few fish prints Gyotaku style and enhance them with GOLDEN paints. This is an easy step by step class for any skill level. The cost of the class include rice papers, inks, use of fish molds (seahorses, several species of fish & starfish) GOLDEN iridescent and metalic paints, brushes, dotting tools, water colors and more. Just bring yourself and a friend.
